Artículo 21. Registros de Comerciantes
Independientemente del registro de las operaciones contables en los libros exigidos por la ley a los comerciantes, las personas dedicadas al negocio de armas deberán llevar un libro especial registrado, foliado y rubricado por el Ministerio de lo Interior y Policía, por medio del cual se harán constar los nombres, edad, residencia, profesión, dirección postal, número, serie y sello de la Cédula de Identificación Personal de las personas que le hubieren comprado armas de fuego, municiones y fulminantes; el número y fecha de licencia de cada comprador; el número y clase de cada arma comprada, juntamente con ¡a cantidad y naturaleza de las municiones y fulminantes para dicha arma de fuego…
Párrafo II. Todo comerciante en armas de fuego, cuando lo requiera el Ministro de lo Interior y Policía, o el Ministro de las Fuerzas Armadas, o las personas autorizadas por dichos funcionarios, está obligado a permitir el examen de dichos libros y registros y cuentas de compra venta de armas de fuego, y el recuento y comprobación de todas las armas, municiones y fulminantes en existencia. Cualquier negativa por parte del comerciante de cumplir las disposiciones del presente articulo, constituirá una infracción a esta Ley, que será castigada con la cancelación de la licencia.

Act No. 36 of 1965, on the Commerce, Carrying and Possession of Firearms
Article 21. Registers of Dealers
Regardless of the recording of accounting transactions in the books required by law for dealers, any individual involved in the arms business shall compile a special register, numbered and signed by the Ministry of the Interior and Police, which shall indicate the name, age, residence, profession, address, number, serial number and stamp of the Personal ID of those who have bought firearms, ammunition and detonators; the number and date of the licence of each buyer, the number and class of each firearm purchased, together with the quantity and type of ammunition and detonators for each firearm…
Paragraph II. All firearm dealers, whenever requested by the Ministry of the Interior and Police, or the Ministry of the Armed forces, or persons authorised by these officials, must allow for the inspection of these books, registers and accounts on sales of firearms, as well as the list of all firearms, ammunition and detonators in their possession. Should the dealer not comply with any of the provisions listed in this article, this will result in an infraction of the present Act which shall be punished with the revocation of the licence.
