Act No. 36 of 1965, on the Commerce, Carrying and Possession of Firearms

Article 15. Firearms for Personal Defence

Any individual may own a firearm for his personal defence, and that of his interests, provided that he complies with the legal requirements and that the Ministry of the Interior and Police shall deem his request justifiable.
