Artículo 2. Armas Objeto de Licencia or Permiso

Son objeto de licencia o permiso, los tipos de armas de fuego que se relacionan a continuación:
a) revólver
b) pistola
e) escopeta
d) fusil
comprendidas en el presente Artículo y que constituyan rarezas o presenten valor histórico, científico o artístico, incluidas las armas de fuego prohibidas que cumplan esas exigencias y que excepcionalmente se autoricen por el Ministerio del Interior, en correspondencia con las regulaciones establecidas en el presente Decreto-Ley; así como las armas neumáticas para uso veterinario y actividades
científicas.
Son objeto de licencia o permiso las demás armas prohibidas que excepcionalmente se autoricen por el Ministerio del Interior, en correspondencia con las regulaciones establecidas en el presente Decreto-Ley.
Son objeto de permiso en correspondencia con las actividades autorizadas en el presente Decreto-Ley, las municiones requeridas para los tipos de armas de fuego relacionadas en el presente artículo.

Decree-Law No. 262 of 2008, on Arms and Ammunition

Article 2. Arms Subject to Licence or Permit

The following types of arms included in the present Article are subject to licence or permit:
a) Revolver
b) Pistol
c) Shotgun
d) Rifle
This also includes rare, historical, scientific or weapons that have artistic value; prohibited firearms that comply with the above and that under exceptional circumstances are authorised by the Ministry of the Interior, in accordance with the regulations established by the present Decree-Law, as well as pneumatic weapons for veterinary use and scientific activities.
Other prohibited types of weapons that under exceptional circumstances are authorised by the Ministry of the Interior, in accordance with the regulations established in the present Decree-Law.
The ammunition required for the types of firearms outlined in the present article are subject to permits in accordance with the authorised activities in the present Decree-Law.
