Artículo 12. Importación Temporal y Definitiva

La importación tiene carácter definitivo o temporal.
1. Es de carácter definitivo cuando las armas, sus accesorios y municiones a que se refiere el acto importador, no tienen regreso o devolución desde el territorio nacional al país de origen o a un tercer país.
2. Es de carácter temporal, cuando las armas, sus accesorios y municiones a que se refiere el acto importador, se introducen en el territorio nacional por un período determinado.

Decree-Law No. 262 of 2008, on Arms and Ammunition

Article 12. Temporary and Permanent Import

Imports are permanent or temporary.
1. They are permanent when the arms, their accessories and ammunition to which the importing act refers are not brought back or handed over from the national territory to their country of origin or another country.
2. They are temporary when the arms, their accessories and ammunition to which the importing act refers are introduced to the national territory for a limited amount of time.
