Artículo 7. Modificaciones Prohibidas

Se consideran prohibidos la tenencia, porte y su uso, en las armas objeto de licencia o permiso, de los aditamentos especialmente concebidos para un arma de fuego que permitan hacerla más efectiva, como sistemas de puntería óptico, dióptico, óptico electrónico, de láser y otros, así como todo dispositivo concebido o adaptado para disminuir el sonido causado por el disparo del arma de fuego, salvo autorización excepcional otorgada por el Ministerio del Interior.

Article 7. Prohibited Modifications

Owning, carrying and using weapons, subject to licence or permit, that have been modified with devices to make them more efficient, such as optic, dioptric and electric-optic aiming mechanisms, as well as all other devices produced or adapted to minimise the sound caused by the firearm, are strictly prohibited. Except, however, in the event of an exceptional authorisation issued by the Ministry of the Interior.
