Artículo 19. Ministerio de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias

EI Ministerio de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias es el organismo de la Administración Central del Estado facultado para la fiscalización y control de las armas de fuego y municiones destinadas a las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias, así como para la aprobación de la importación y exportación definitiva de:
a) las armas de fuego y municiones de todo tipo destinadas a la Defensa Nacional para los ministerios de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias y del Interior y;
b) las armas de fuego que son objeto de licencia o permiso pertenecientes a personas naturales o jurídicas.

Decree-Law No. 262 of 2008, on Arms and Ammunition

Article 19. Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces

The Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces is the central state administration's agency in charge of the supervision and control of firearms and ammunition destined for the Revolutionary Armed Forces, as well as the approval of permanent imports and exports of:
a) firearms and ammunition of any kind, destined for national defence for the ministries of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and of the Interior, and;
b) firearms that are subject to licence or permit and belong to natural or legal persons.
