Artículo 25. Armas de Uso Particular de los Miembros de las Fuerzas Armadas y la Policía Nacional del Perú

25.1 La posesión y uso de las armas de fuego y municiones de uso particular de miembros de las Fuerzas Armadas y la Policía Nacional del Perú, en situación de actividad, se rigen por las disposiciones de sus respectivos institutos o por las disposiciones unificadas del Comando Conjunto de las Fuerzas Armadas. Los respectivos institutos renovarán las licencias de uso que hubiesen otorgado a sus miembros que se encuentren o pasen a la situación de disponibilidad o retiro. En tales supuestos, los miembros en situación de actividad o retiro de las Fuerzas Armadas y de la Policía Nacional del Perú podrán efectuar el trámite para la obtención de las tarjetas de propiedad ante la SUCAMEC a través de sus respectivos institutos armados o de la Policía Nacional del Perú…

The possession and use of firearms and ammunition by the members of the Armed Forces and Peru National Police, during operations, is regulated by provisions set by their respective institutions or by the unified regulations of the Joint Command of the Armed Forces.
