Artículo 28. Importación y Exportación

28.1 Las personas naturales o jurídicas autorizadas para comercializar armas de fuego, municiones y materiales relacionados pueden importar y exportar armas de fuego, municiones y materiales relacionados con autorización de la SUCAMEC, de acuerdo a los requisitos que establezca el reglamento y de conformidad con la normativa vigente en materia industrial, económica y de comercio exterior…

28.3 La importación y exportación de armas de fuego, municiones y materiales relacionados, a que se refiere la presente Ley, solamente se efectúan por las aduanas autorizadas, las cuales autorizan el despacho previa autorización de la SUCAMEC.

28.4 Las personas naturales que ingresen armas de fuego, municiones y materiales relacionados al país para su uso personal, requieren previa autorización de la SUCAMEC y estar conforme a las limitaciones y lineamientos establecidos en la Ley General de Aduanas y las disposiciones de la presente Ley.

Las autorizaciones materia del presente artículo tienen una vigencia máxima de un (1) año calendario, contado desde su notificación al solicitante.

Article 28. Import and Export

28.1 Natural or legal persons authorised for the trade of firearms, ammunition and related materials, may import and export firearms, ammunition and related materials, subject to the authorisation of SUCAMEC and in accordance with requirements set by the regulation and in accordance with current norms on industry, economy and foreign trade…

28.3 The import and export of firearms, ammunition and related materials, referred to in this Act, shall only be carried out through authorised Customs, which shall authorise their dispatch subject to the authorisation of SUCAMEC.

28.4 Natural persons bringing into the country firearms, ammunition and related materials for their own personal use, must request prior authorisation from SUCAMEC and must comply with limits and norms set by the General Customs Act and regulations of the present Act.

Authorisations of the present article have a maximum validity of one (1) calendar year, starting from their notification of the application.
