Artículo 26. Adquisición de Armas para Uso Militar y Policial

Solamente el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional podrá adquirir armas de fuego, municiones, explosivos y accesorios para uso militar; y autorizar al Ministerio de Gobierno, la adquisición de armas, municiones, explosivos y accesorios para uso Policial, previo informe del Comando Conjunto de las Fuerzas Armadas.

Regulations to the Act on Arms, Ammunition, Explosives and Accessories, Executive Decree No. 169. RO/32

Article 26. Purchase of Firearms for Military and Police Purposes

Only the Ministry of National Defence shall purchase firearms, ammunition, explosives and accessories for military use; and authorises the Ministry of Government for the purchase of firearms, ammunition, explosives and accessories for Police use, subject to a previous report of the Joint Command of the Armed Forces.
