Artículo 30. Decomisación de Armas de Contrabando

Las armas de fuego, municiones, explosivos, insumos y accesorios introducidos al País en violación de las normas establecidas en esta Ley y su Reglamento, se considerarán contrabando y serán decomisadas.

Las autoridades de Aduana enviarán las especies capturadas al IV Departamento del Comando Conjunto, a los Comandos de Brigada, a los Comandos de Zona Naval o Aérea, según el caso, para que sean remitidas, a su vez, al Comando Conjunto de las Fuerzas Armadas.

Act on the Manufacture, Import, Export, Trade and Possession of Arms, Ammunition, Explosives and Accessories

Article 30. Seizure of Smuggled Firearms

Firearms, ammunition, explosives, materials and accessories introduced into the Country in violation of the norms established in this Act and its Regulation shall be considered as smuggled and shall be confiscated.

Customs Authorities must send the seized items to the IV Department of the Joint Command, the Brigades Command, the Air and Naval Forces Commands, depending on the circumstances, to be submitted, in turn, to the Joint Command of the Armed Forces.
