Artículo 7. Adquisición de Armas para Uso Militar y Policial

Solamente el Estado por intermedio del Ministerio de Defensa Nacional podrá adquirir armas de fuego, municiones y explosivos para uso militar y autorizar al Ministerio de Gobierno la adquisición de armas de fuego, municiones explosivos y accesorios para uso policial, previo informe del Comando Conjunto de las Fuerzas Armadas.

Article 7. Purchase of Weapons for Military and Police Use

Only the State will be able to purchase, through the Ministry of National Defence, firearms, ammunition and explosives for military use, and to authorise the Ministry of the Government to purchase firearms, ammunition, explosives and accessories for police use, subject to the report of the Joint Command of Armed Forces.
