Artículo 21. Transcurrido el período de doce (12) meses establecido por la Ley, todo traspaso de dominio de una arma de fuego entre particulares, deberá de constar en documento privado autenticado, el cual deberá de inscribirse en un plazo no mayor de tres (3) días en el registro Nacional de Armas.

Article 21. After the twelve (12) month period established by the Act, any firearm transfer between individuals must be recorded in an authenticated private document, which shall then be recorded in the National Register of Firearms within three (3) days.
