Artículo 167. Desarme

El desarme es la acción del Estado orientada a fomentar la entrega voluntaria o la recuperación forzosa de armas de fuego y municiones que se encuentren en el territorio y demás espacios geográficos de la República, de conformidad con lo estipulado en la ley para el Desarme y Control de Armas y Municiones, así como los planes ejecutados por el Ejecutivo Nacional mediante los Planes Nacionales de Canje de Armas y Municiones de Desarme Voluntario.

Decree No. 881, promulgating Regulations for the Law on Disarmament and Control of Firearms and Ammunition

Article 167. Disarmament

Disarmament is the effort carried out by the State to promote the voluntary hand-over or the forced recovery of firearms and ammunition found inside the State's territory and its other geographical spaces, in accordance with what is established by the Law for the Disarmament and Control of Arms and Ammunition, as well as plans carried out by the National Executive through the National Plans for the exchange of Arms and Ammunition of Voluntary Disarmament.
