23 V.I.C. § 484

Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall, except when otherwise specifically provided herein, be fined not more than $ 5,000 or imprisoned not more than three years or both; provided that if the violation occurs after such person has been convicted in the Virgin Islands of a violation of this chapter, or of a crime of violence, either in the Virgin Islands or in another jurisdiction, such person shall be fined not more than $ 10,000 or imprisoned not more than ten years or both.
