Article 1319
(1) The office of the Attorney-General shall maintain a registry of firearms. The records in the registry shall be kept permanently unless there is a record of the destruction of the gun.
(5) Records in the registry shall not be public records. They shall be made available only to law enforcement officers of the Republic or its subdivisions, or at the discretion of the office of the Attorney-General, to law enforcement officers and agencies of foreign governments.
