6. Firearms and ammunition export licence

(1) No person shall export any firearm or ammunition from the Falkland Islands unless he holds a firearms and ammunition export licence authorizing such exportation.

(2) A firearms and ammunition export licence may be obtained on application to the chief police officer and on payment of the prescribed fee and shall be in the prescribed form or, if no form is prescribed, in such form as the chief police officer may consider appropriate.

(3) Every holder of such licence shall endorse thereon the description and identifying marks of all firearms and the description of all ammunition exported thereunder, and shall return the licence to the chief police officer within fourteen days from exporting all the firearms and ammunition authorized to be exported.
