Licence Required to Carry Firearm in Public Place

7. (1) No person shall carry a firearm in any public place unless at the time when he carries such firearm, he is in possession of a Firearms Licence authorising him to carry such firearm in such place.

(2) Every person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) of this section shall be guilty of an offence against this Ordinance and on summary conviction shall be liable to a fine of $1,000 or to be imprisoned for thirty days, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
