Artículo 1. (Objeto)

La presente Ley tiene por objeto normar, regular y controlar la fabricación, importación, exportación, internación temporal, comercialización, enajenación, donación, transporte, tránsito, depósito, almacenaje, tenencia, manipulación, empleo, porte o portación, destrucción, desactivación, rehabilitación, registro, control, fiscalización, secuestro, incautación, confiscación y otras actividades relacionadas con armas de fuego, municiones, explosivos, materias primas clasificadas tendientes a la fabricación de explosivos, fuegos artificiales o pirotécnicos, sus piezas, componentes y otros materiales relacionados, en el marco de la Seguridad y Defensa del Estado y de la Seguridad Ciudadana.

Article 1. (Objective)

The objective of the Law is to regulate and control the manufacture, import, export, temporary admission, trade, sale, donation, transportation, transit, storing, renting, handling, use, possession or carrying, destruction, deactivation, rehabilitation, recording, monitoring, inspection, hijacking, seizure, confiscation and other activities related to firearms, ammunition, explosives, classified materials aimed at the manufacture of explosives, fireworks or pyrotechnics, their parts, components and other related materials under the framework for the Security and Defence of the State and Public Safety.
