Artículo 141 Quinter. (Tenencia Y Porte O Portación Ilícita)

I. La tenencia y porte o portación de armas de fuego, municiones, explosivos, materiales relacionados, sin contar con la autorización legal será sancionado con pena privativa de libertad:

a) Tenencia ilícita, de seis (6) meses a dos (2) años.
b) Porte o Portación ilícita, de uno (1) a cinco (5) años.

II. Las sanciones serán agravadas en un tercio del máximo, cuando se traten de armamento y explosivos de uso militar o policial.

Article 141 Fifth. (Illicit Possession and Bearing or Carrying)

I. Possession and bearing or carrying of firearms, ammunition, explosives and related materials without legal authorisation shall be punished with imprisonment:

a) Illicit possession, six (6) months to two (2) years.
b) Illicit bearing or carrying, one (1) to five (5) years.

II. The maximum sanctions will be aggravated by one third when it relates directly to the use of weapons and explosives belonging to the military or police.
