Draft Article 8
- The Ministry of the Interior may authorise the possession, ownership and carrying of hunting arms by individual license, which suspends the prohibition under Article 2 above.
- Such hunting arms shall be limited to single-shot bolt rifles of 8 mm maximum or shotguns. When not in use for hunting, such arms and munitions shall be kept separately under lock and key.

Draft Article 23
- Other civil and elected officials of the Royal Government may be authorised by the Ministry of the Interior to possess and carry a pistol, not exceeding 9 mm, where there is a credible threat to the life or property of such civil or elected official.
