Tout titulaire de l'autorisation visée au dernier alinéa de l'article 61 doit, avant de céder à quelque titre que ce soit une arme ou des munitions des quatre premières catégories2 3 à un demandeur commerçant ou fabricant autorisé, se faire présenter par ce dernier copie de son autorisation en cours de validité. La cession ne peut porter que sur les matériels pour lesquels l'acquéreur détient une autorisation de fabrication ou de commerce ou qui sont des éléments constitutifs des matériels pour lesquels il détient une autorisation de fabrication.

La cession est portée sur le registre spécial prévu par l'article 17.4

Article 20

Any holder of authorisation, referred to in the last paragraph of Article 6,1 must, before transferring in any way whatsoever a firearm or ammunition of the first four categories,2 3 ask the purchaser, authorised dealer or manufacturer, to present a valid copy of his/her authorisation. The transfer may only cover the materials for which the purchaser has an authorisation to manufacture or trade, or which are components of the materials for which he/she holds an authorisation to manufacture.

The transfer must be recorded in the special register referred to in Article 17 above.4
