Article 4

L'armurier1 ayant accompli les formalités prévues à l'article 32 ci-dessus conserve l'arme détruite à la disposition de l'autorité de police ou de la brigade de gendarmerie du lieu de son activité jusqu'à la vérification de la réalité de la réduction de la totalité des pièces de l'arme à l'état de ferraille et au visa de l'inscription portée, selon la catégorie de l'arme à détruire, sur les registres prévus aux articles 833 ou R. 313-24 du code de la sécurité intérieure, par cette autorité.

Article 4

The gunsmith1 who has completed the formalities provided for in Article 32 above, keeps the destroyed firearm available to Police or Gendarmerie of the place of his/her activity, until verification of the reality of the reduction of all parts of the firearm into scrap, and the verification by this authority of the inscription in the registers, depending on the category of the destroyed firearm, referred to in Articles 833 or R. 313-24 of the Internal Security Code, by this authority.
