Article L. 2336-3:

Toute personne physique sollicitant la délivrance ou le renouvellement d'une autorisation d'acquisition ou de détention de matériels, d'armes ou de munitions des 1re et 4e catégories1 ou faisant une déclaration de détention d'armes des 5e et 7e catégories1 doit produire un certificat médical attestant que son état de santé physique et psychique n'est pas incompatible avec la détention de ces matériels, armes ou munitions.

Dans le cas où la personne mentionnée au précédent alinéa suit ou a suivi un traitement dans un service ou un secteur de psychiatrie d'un établissement de santé, l'autorité administrative lui demande de produire également un certificat médical délivré par un médecin psychiatre…

Article L. 2336-3:

Any individual requesting the issuance or the renewal of an authorisation to purchase or to possess materials, firearms or ammunition of the 1st and 4th categories,1 or making a declaration of possession of firearms of the 5th and 7th categories,1 must provide a health certificate attesting that his/her physical and psychiatric state is not incompatible with the possession of such materials, firearms or ammunition.

In case the individual mentioned in the preceding paragraph is under or has been
under treatment in a psychiatric service of a health institution, the Administrative Authority also asks him/her to provide a health certificate issued by a psychiatrist…
