3) Sí se han adoptado medidas para asegurar que se establezcan registros precisos y completos de todas las armas pequeñas y las armas ligeras marcadas en Nicaragua, de conformidad con los párrafos pertinentes del instrumento internacional de localización.

El Ejército de Nicaragua, la Policía Nacional y el Sistema Penitenciario Nacional, son las únicas instituciones autorizadas por la Ley 510, para el uso de armas en el marco de sus funciones establecidas en la Constitución y Leyes respectivas, basado en esto, estas llevan sus registros precisos y completos.

En la Dirección de Armas de Fuego, Municiones, Explosivos y Otros materiales relacionados lleva un registro completo de todas las armas que se encuentran legalizadas en nuestro país, según la Ley 510 bajo el concepto de USO CIVIL.

Se ha establecido, en la Policía Nacional, un nuevo Sistema de Gestión de Información como medida para asegurar el control y seguimiento único del registro de armas.

3) If measures have been adopted to ensure that accurate and complete records of all small arms and light weapons in Nicaragua are kept in accordance with the relevant paragraphs of the International Tracing Instrument.

The National Police, Army and the National Penitentiary System are the only institutions in Nicaragua that are authorised, under Law 510, to use firearms in the framework of their functions under the Constitution and relevant laws. Based on this, they take accurate and complete records.

The Directorate of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials has a complete record of all weapons that are legalised in our country, according to Law 510 on the concept of civilian use.

In the National Police, a new Information Management System has been established as a measure to ensure the unique monitoring and control of the register of firearms.
