Gestion et sécurisation des stocks
Toutes les armes affectées dans les unités des Forces de Défense Nationale et des Forces de Sécurité Publique sont gérées par le Ministère de la Défense Nationale.
Il existe:
- un registre national où toutes les armes et munitions achetées et importées par l'Etat Béninois suivant une procédure bien définie sont répertoriées;
- un registre d'affectation des armes et munitions;
- un registre de détention des armes et munitions par institution chargée de la Défense Nationale ou de la Sécurité Publique (Police, Gendarmerie, Douane, Eaux et Forêts);
- un registre de détention des armes et munitions par unité.
Chaque unité a ses magasins d'armes et munitions où les stocks sont sécurisés par des postes de gardes désignées pour 24 heures de service.

Management and Security of Stockpiles
All weapons allocated to the units of the National Defence and Public Security Forces are managed by the Ministry of National Defence.
There exists:
- A national register where all the weapons and ammunition purchased and imported by the state of Benin, after a well-defined procedure, are listed;
- A register of the allocation of firearms and ammunition;
- A register of the possession of firearms and ammunition by the institutions responsible for the National Defence and Public Security (Police, Gendarmerie, Customs, Forestry);
- A register of the possession of firearms and ammunition by unit.
Each unit has its magazines of arms and ammunition which are secured by guards designated for 24 hours.
