Coopération et assistance internationale
Dans le cadre des activités de coopération et d'assistance internationale dans le domaine de la lutte contre le commerce illicite des armes légères et de petit calibre, l'Algérie a participe en octobre 2008 et en novembre 2009 à deux séminaires organisés par le Gouvernement allemand en direction des points focaux des Etats de la Ligue arabe. Ces séminaires ont porté sur les thèmes suivants: "la coopération entre la République fédérale d'Allemagne et la Ligue arabe dans le domaine du contrôle des armes légères et de petit calibre."; "le contrôle des armes légères et de petit calibre et leurs munitions."
Elle a également pris part, en décembre 2008, au séminaire régional sur le contrôle des exportations d'armes organisé par l'Union européenne, a Rabat (Maroc) et en avril 2009, au séminaire régional sur le projet de Traité sur le Commerce des Armes organise, conjointement, par l'Institut des Nations unies pour la Recherche sur le Désarmement (UNIDIR) et l'Union européenne, à Dakar.
Par ailleurs, l'Algérie a abrité, les 23 et 24 mars 2010 un séminaire régional organisé par l'Union Européenne, qui a porté sur le contrôle des exportations d'armes. Ce séminaire a regroupe des experts des pays d'Afrique du Nord (Algérie, Egypte, Libye, Maroc, Tunisie) et de l'Union Européenne.

International Cooperation and Assistance
In the framework of cooperation and international assistance in the field of the fight against the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons, Algeria has participated in October 2008 and November 2009 in two seminars organised by the German Government for the focal points of the States of the Arab League. These seminars focused on the following topics: 'Cooperation between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Arab League in the control of small arms and light weapons'; 'The control of small arms and light weapons and their ammunition.'
It also took part in December 2008, in the regional seminar on the control of arms exports organized by the European Union, in Rabat (Morocco) and in April 2009, in the regional seminar on the draft Treaty on Trade weapons organized jointly by the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) and the European Union in Dakar.
Additionally, Algeria hosted on 23 and 24 March 2010 a regional seminar organised by the European Union, which focused on the control of arms exports. This seminar brought together experts from the countries of North Africa (Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia) and the European Union.
