§ 19. Weapons and Ammunition in Restricted Commerce

(1) The following are weapons in restricted commerce:
1) gas weapons, except the gas sprays specified in clause 18 (1) 1);
2) pneumatic weapons, except the pneumatic weapons specified in clause 18 (1) 2);
3) cut-and-thrust weapons, except the cut-and-thrust weapons specified in clauses 18 (1) 3)–6) and subsection 20 (2);
4) projectile weapons, except the projectile weapons specified in clauses 18 (1) 7)–9);
5) firearms, except the firearms specified in clause 20 (1).

(2) Weapons in restricted commerce may be acquired on the basis of an acquisition permit provided for in § 32 of this Act followed by registration in the name of the owner or possessor of the weapon.

(3) Ammunition, propellants and primers for weapons in restricted commerce may be acquired on the basis of an acquisition permit or weapons permit provided for in §§ 32 or 34 of this Act.
