56.-(1) With effect from the 25th day of September, 1984, the offences prescribed in the First Schedule to this Act shall be known as economic offences and triable by the Court in accordance with the provisions of this Act…

59…(2) …any person convicted of an economic offence shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fifteen years, or to both that imprisonment and any other penal measure provided for in this Act.

[Note: According the First Schedule of this Act, Section 15: Any person who, in the commission of any offence, other than assault or robbery or any other offence punishable with death or imprisonment for life, uses a firearm or any explosive materials is guilty of an offence under this paragraph.]
