Artículo 1. Campo de Aplicación

Este Reglamento clasifica las armas, municiones y explosivos industriales, afines y sus materias primas en prohibidas y permitidas. Regula la inscripción, adquisición, fabricación, tenencia, portación importación, exportación, venta, comercialización, instalación de dispositivos de seguridad y uso de estos, tanto para los entes estatales, cuerpos policiales, como para personas físicas y jurídicas y privadas, y, establece los trámites y procedimientos pertinentes a seguir en toda solicitud y permiso que deba ser autorizado por el Departamento.

Article 1. Scope

This Regulation classifies arms, ammunition and industrial explosives, similar products and raw materials in two categories: prohibited and permitted. It regulates the registration, acquisition, manufacture, possession, carrying, import, export, sale, marketing, installation and use of security devices by State forces and agencies, as well as by individual and legal entities. It provides the formalities and procedures to be followed in any application and permit to be authorised by the Arms and Explosives Control Department.
