En Guise de Conclusion
Il y a lieu de reconnaître la précarité des structures existantes, des mécanismes et procédures de contrôle. Le Service de douanes, de ports et aéroports accusent de sérieuses déficiences en matière de contrôle des entrées d'armes en Haïti.
En effet, nous pouvons souligner entre autres:
– Le manque de formation des officiers préposés à cette tâche;
– L'absence d'une base de données informatique;
– L'absence de données fiables pouvant faciliter des interventions sur cette question.
Des efforts en cours permettront avec la collaboration de la communauté internationale d'avoir un meilleur contrôle des points d'entrée des armes et de leur circulation sur le territoire national.

As a Conclusion
There are reasons to acknowledge the precariousness of the existing structures, of control mechanisms and procedures. The Customs Services of harbours and airports display serious deficiencies concerning the control of entry of firearms in Haiti.
Indeed, we can underline, among other things:
- The lack of training of officers responsible for this task
- The absence of a computerized database
- The absence of reliable data allowing to facilitate interventions on this matter
Current efforts will allow, with the help of the international community, to have a better control of the points of entry of firearms and their circulation on the national territory.
