…Il convient de souligner que la Tunisie n'est pas un pays producteur d'armes à feu et qu'elle n'a pas enregistré à l'intérieur de ses frontières des industries illégales du genre, à l'exception de rares cas de fabrication artisanale de fusils de chasse, où les contrevenants ont été déférés devant la justice et les armes produites ont été saisies et confisquées.

La Tunisie n'autorise pas non plus le transit des armes à travers ses frontières et n'autorise l'introduction des armes non prohibées que si celles-ci sont immatriculées (portant les signes et les matricules des fabricants), de façon à permettre l'identification de leurs origines et de leurs lieux de fabrication, afin de rendre possible leur traçage et leur enregistrement sur les registres appropriés.

La Tunisie n'a pas octroyé d'autorisations pour des opérations de courtage et d'intermédiation en matière d'armes…

Tunisia does not allow transit of firearms across its borders and only authorises introduction of non-prohibited firearms if they are marked (bearing signs and reference number of the manufacturers), in order to allow identification of their origins and places of manufacture and enable their tracing and registration on the appropriate registers.

Tunisia has not granted authorisations for brokering and intermediation in terms of firearms…
