El Ejército de Nicaragua, la Policía Nacional y el Sistema Penitenciario Nacional, son las únicas instituciones autorizadas por la Ley 510, para el uso de armas en el marco de sus funciones … estas llevan sus registros precisos y completos.

En la Dirección de Armas de Fuego, Municiones, Explosivos y Otros materiales relacionados lleva un registro completo de todas las armas que se encuentran legalizadas en nuestro país, según la Ley 510 bajo el concepto de USO CIVIL.

Se ha establecido, en la Policía Nacional, un nuevo Sistema de Gestión de Información como medida para asegurar el control y seguimiento único del registro de armas.

The Army, the National Police and the National Penitentiary System are the only institutions authorised by Law 510 to use firearms to perform their duties … these organisations keep their own accurate and complete records.

The Bureau of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Related Materials keeps a complete registry of all legal firearms in the country which have been classified by Law 510 as arms for civilian use.

The National Police has created a new Information Management System to ensure the monitoring and control of the firearm registry.
