Article 53: Structure of the Arsenal

The arsenal shall have a separate concrete room for storage with bullet proof doors which require a code to be unlocked.

The storage of arms, ammunition and other related materials in the room reserved for this purpose shall be subject to prior authorization of the Commissioner General of the National Police given after making sure that the room meets required conditions. Such room shall be protected under tight security. For arms meant for Rwanda Defense Forces, such formalities rest with the Army Chief of Staff.
