Artículo 60. Armas para Deportistas

Las armas que podrán autorizarse a los deportistas de tiro y cacería, para poseer en su domicilio y para portar con el respectivo permiso son:

a) Pistolas, revólveres y rifles calibre 22" de fuego circular.
b) Pistolas y revólveres hasta de calibre 38", con fines de tiro olímpico o de competencia.
c) Escopetas en todos sus calibres y modelos, excepto las de calibre superior al 12" (18.5 mm).
d) Escopetas de tres cañones en los calibres autorizados anteriormente, con un cañón para cartuchos metálicos de distinto calibre.
e) Rifles de alto poder, de repetición, de funcionamiento semi-automático, excepto carabinas calibres 30", fusiles mosquetones y carabinas calibres 223", 7 y 7.62 mm y fusiles "Garand" calibre 30".
f) Las demás armas de características deportivas de acuerdo con las normas legales nacionales o internacionales de cacería y de tiro en las diferentes modalidades.

Article 60. Sporting Arms

The arms that can be authorised to sportsmen for shooting or hunting, to possess in the home and to carry with a licence, are the following:

a) .22 calibre rimfire pistols, revolvers and rifles.
b) Pistols and revolvers up to .38 calibre for the purpose of Olympic shooting or competition.
c) Shotguns in all calibers and models except those of calibre greater than .12 (18.5 mm).
d) Shotguns with 3 barrels of the calibres authorised in the previous section, with a barrel for metallic cartridges of distinct calibre.
e) High-powered rifles, repeating or semiautomatic, excluding .30 calibre carbines, rifles muskets and carbines of calibre .223, 7 and 7.62 mm and Garand rifles in .30 caliber.
f) Other arms of sporting characteristics in accordance with the national and international legal norms of hunting and shooting sports.
