Article 1:

Dans la République du Tchad, les armes à feu ou leurs munitions, quelles qu'en soient la nature et la quantité, ne peuvent être importées que par les localités où existe un bureau de douane, et sur autorisation spéciale du Président de la République, à l'exclusion de celles qui sont introduites par des particuliers à titre définitif et pour lesquelles n'est exigée qu'une autorisation des autorités gouvernementales habilitées.

Elles sont aussitôt transportées et emmagasinées dans les poudrières et magasins publics ou privés spécialement aménagés.

Article 1:

In the Republic of Chad, firearms or ammunition, regardless of their nature and quantity, can only be imported by the localities where there is a Customs office, and with special authorisation from the President of the Republic, excluding those brought, on a permanent basis, by individuals and that require an authorisation from the governmental authorities empowered.

They are immediately moved and stored in magazines and stores, public or private, specially equipped.
