Todas las armas que el Gobierno de la República posea o adquiera, deberán mostrar, en una parte visible, el escudo nacional o las siglas GCR (Gobierno de Costa Rica), el número de serie, el patrimonio y las demás características que, según el reglamento, constituyan la identificación.

Article 6. Marking of Government Arms

All arms possessed or acquired by the State must have in a visible part, the national emblem or the initials GCR (Government of Costa Rica), the serial number, place of manufacture and other features that identify the arm, according to the Regulation.
