Transport Across State Border and Transit of Arms and Military Equipment

Transport across state border are approved by MIA subject to Article 29 of the Law on Trade in Arms, Military Equipment and Dual-Use Goods (Official Gazette of Serbia Montenegro Nos. 7/05 and 8/05), and transit subject to Article 30 of the said Law. Approval is granted following the issuance of a licence for a specific foreign trade by the competent Ministry and upon consent by the Ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs.

Transport across state border and transit of arms and military equipment by air are approved by the Civil Aviation Directorate under Article 29, paragraph 2 and Article 30, paragraph 2 of the Law. Approval for air transits and transports is granted also in the manner described above, meaning following the issuance of a licence for a specific foreign trade and upon consent by the Ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs.
