The relevant licence is granted by MIA in accordance with Article 29 of the Law on Arms and Munitions (Official Journal of the Republic of Serbia Nos. 9/92….101/05) and with Article 30 of the Law on Border Crossing and Movement in the Border Zone (Official Gazette of the SFRY Nos. 34/79,…., 68/02).

The applications concerned are received by MIA pursuant to Article 30 of the said Law upon the opinions received from the Ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs. The same procedure applied to sports and hunting weapons and munitions thereof.
