Stockpile Management and Security

The legislation provides a range of measures for the destruction of SALW.

The Decision of the Government on regulating the arms circulation asserts that the
destruction of weapons is executed by the State Commission which ultimately
produces a report on destruction.

The weapons subject to destruction are transformed to scrap via mechanical deformation, slicing, dissembling and melting. The bullets are destroyed by being burnt in special designated areas.
