Storage and Destruction of the Arms

Article 9

The arms handed over shall be kept in properly secured facilities determined in the National Program.

Article 10

The arms handed over shall be publicly destroyed in the presence of the commissions established by the Coordinating Body and consisting of: one representative each of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Justice and two representatives of the Community of the Units of Local Self-Government of the Republic of Macedonia.

Depending on the type of arms, the destruction shall be carried out by experts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense, at the suitable locations determined by the National Program.

The destruction of arms from Article 3, Paragraph 1, of this Law shall be carried out within 90 days from the expiration of the deadline from Article 7, Paragraph 1, of this Law.

The Coordinating Body shall supervise the destruction of the arms handed over and shall send a report thereof to the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia within 30 days.
