Article 33

Weapons can be sold only to people that possess permission for purchasing weapon issued in accordance to this law, i.e. to the legal subject authorized to perform trading with weapons, parts of weapons and ammunition.

Selling weapons between physical persons is done with a contract in written form, stamped by notary, that contains: name, surname, date of birth, unique citizens number, number of identity card or passport, place of living and address of the apartment of both clients; type, brand and caliber of the weapon; data about the producer, sign i.e. stamp of the weapon; place and date of signing of the contract.

[According to the Republic of Macedonia's 2009 Report on the Implementation of the UN Programme of Action on Small Arms and Light Weapons, these draft provisions were adopted by the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia on 8 February 2005.
