42. Regulations

The Minister may make regulations -

prescribing the form of a firearm certificate and of any register required to be kept under this Act, and of any permit or other document under this Act;

prescribing the fees to be paid for anything done or any permit, document or authorisation issued or granted under this Act;

prescribing any thing to be prescribed under this Act;

regulating the manner in which the chief licensing officer, deputy chief licensing officer and other licensing officers are to carry out their duties under this Act;

regulating or controlling the issue, custody or use of firearms and ammunition issued to the police force or the prisons service exempted from the provisions of this Act;

generally for putting the provisions of this Act into effect.

(2) Any regulations made under subsection (1)(e) may make such supplementary and incidental provisions as appear to the Minister to be necessary or expedient.
