2.4.1 Production

The production activities in Kenya of all goods and services are governed by the Trade licensing Act, Chapter 497 of the laws of Kenya. The act commenced in January 8th 1968.

There is no section of this law that applies specifically to SALW.

This law requires that any person or company engaged in any business acquires a trade licence from the Government.
