Article 7

Arms of category "B" and "C" can be procured on the basis of an approval by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, issued according to the place of residence of the applicant, or the place of stay of the foreign applicant in the Republic of Macedonia, i.e. according to the headquarters location of the legal entity filing an application (hereinafter referred to as competent authority).

Parts for arms, ammunition for arms with rifled barrels and equipment for hunting arms and sports arms (optical or sniper sight) can be procured on the basis of an approval, according to the type of arms for which a license for arms was issued.

The approval for procurement of arms, parts for arms and ammunition referred to in Paragraphs 1 and 2 of this article shall be valid for 6 months from the day of issuance of the approval.

The approval for procurement of ammunition referred to in Paragraph 2 of this article can be issued only once in the course of one calendar year for a maximum amount of 50 bullets, i.e. for a maximum of 100 bullets for hunting arms.

Ammunition for arms with smooth bore barrels can be procured on the basis of the license issued for those particular arms.
