14. Unlicensed Persons Selling Firearms

(1) Every person, other than a licensed gun-dealer, who sells or otherwise disposes of any firearm or ammunition to any other person in Belize shall, within fourteen days of such sale or disposition, notify in writing the Commissioner of Police or the police officer in charge of the district where such person resides, stating the name and address of the person to whom the firearm or ammunition has been sold or otherwise disposed of.

(2) Every person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence.
