13. Records

The Ministry of National Security shall maintain records for a period of five years, in such form as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry may determine from time to time, relating to all importations into, or exportations from, or the intransiting through, Belize of any firearms, firearm parts, components and/or ammunition and such records shall in particular contain:-
a) the classification and description of the firearms, firearms parts, components and/or ammunition;
b) the actual quantities in respect of each shipment transaction;
c) in the case of the importation or exportation of firearms, firearms parts, components and ammunition, the quantities remaining to be exported or imported, as the case may be, pursuant to a particular certificate or authorisation.
