Art. 24 Introduction into Swiss territory in a professional capacity

Any person who, in a professional capacity, introduces into Swiss territory, arms, essential components of arms, ammunitions or components of ammunitions must hold, in addition to the licence to trade in arms, one of the authorizations as referred to in art. 24a, 24b or 24c.

The Federal Council can provide for exceptions to the obligation to request an authorization to introduce knives into Switzerland in a professional capacity.

The authorization is issued by the Central Office, which limits the period of validity.

The Central Office informs the Cantonal authorities for the registered office of the holder of the licence for arms, essential components of arms, specially designed components of arms, ammunitions and components of ammunitions that are introduced into Switzerland.
