74 § (8.9.2017/623) Euroopan ampuma-asepassi

Poliisilaitos antaa Euroopan ampuma-asepassin luonnolliselle henkilölle, jolla on aseluvan tai rinnakkaisluvan nojalla oikeus ampuma-aseen tai aseen osan hallussapitoon. Aselupaa tai rinnakkaislupaa koskeva lupatodistus on esitettävä poliisille ampuma-asepassia haettaessa.

Euroopan ampuma-asepassin haltijan on esitettävä sekä pyydettäessä luovutettava ampuma-asepassi poliisilaitokselle tarpeellisten merkintöjen tekemiseksi seikoista, jotka koskevat:

1) ampuma-asepassin haltijan henkilötietojen muuttumista;

2) aseluvan tai rinnakkaisluvan voimassaoloajan tai lupaehtojen muuttumista;

3) ampuma-aseen tai aseen osan muuntamista;

4) ampuma-aseen tai aseen osan luovuttamista, katoamista, anastetuksi tulemista sekä ampuma-aseen pysyvästi ampumakelvottomaksi ja aseen osan pysyvästi toimintakelvottomaksi tekemistä.

Edellä 2 momentissa tarkoitetuissa tapauksissa Euroopan ampuma-asepassi on esitettävä sekä pyydettäessä luovutettava 30 päivän kuluessa momentin 1–4 kohdassa mainituista tapahtumista.

Euroopan ampuma-asepassi on voimassa siihen merkittyjen ampuma-aseiden tai aseen osien hallussapitoon oikeuttavien lupien voimassaoloajan. Se on kuitenkin voimassa enintään viisi vuotta päivästä, jona se on annettu. Ampuma-asepassin voimassaoloaikaa voidaan jatkaa.

74 § (8.9.2017/623) European firearms pass

The European firearms pass is issued by the police to a natural person who is entitled to possess a firearm or a firearm component under a firearms licence or a parallel licence. The certificate of authorisation for the firearms licence or parallel licence must be presented to the police when applying for the firearms pass.

The holder of a European firearms pass shall present and, on request, surrender the firearms pass to the police authorities for the purpose of making the necessary entries concerning:

1) any change in the personal data of the holder of the firearms pass;

2) any change in the period of validity or conditions of the firearms licence or parallel permit;

3) the modification of a firearm or a firearm component;

(4) the surrender, loss, misappropriation or permanent disablement of a firearm or firearm component or the permanent disabling of a firearm or firearm component.

In the cases referred to in paragraph 2, the European firearms pass shall be produced and, on request, surrendered within 30 days of the events referred to in paragraphs 1 to 4.

The European firearms pass shall be valid for the duration of the validity of the authorisations to possess the firearms or firearm parts to which it relates. However, it shall be valid for a maximum period of five years from the date of issue. The period of validity of the firearms pass may be extended.
