Country-specific information provided by UN Member States, as submitted to the United Nations Office of Disarmament Affairs in compliance with the UN small arms Programme of Action (UNPoA) since 2001.

Each PoA-ISS Country Profile aims to list:

- National Point of Contact and National Coordination Body
- National Reports on the implementation of the PoA
- National statements delivered at various UN Meetings
- Small arms-related national legislation
- Projects, activities and concrete measures undertaken in the country
- Other relevant information provided by Member States

These profiles are compiled by government officials, and commonly omit material published by civil society groups and non-government researchers.
