16.1 What records relating to SALW are kept by the State (e.g. manufacturing, brokering, import and export licences granted, sales to other States, SALW held by State agencies such as the armed forces etc)?
The input register mentions the name of the manufacturer, references to the order and operation, number, brand and serial number of the firearms, quantity of ammunition and references to the Ministerial Order and permit authorising the import. The output register mentions the serial number and date, the number of sold firearms or quantity of sold ammunition, and references to the possession permits or permits to carry firearms and permits to purchase ammunition'.
